low-income schools and orphanages in India
The HeadStart LEAD (Leadership Experience And Development) program is offered to schools at select locations in the southern states of India. At each of the projects, TalentEase Certified Facilitators work with the children providing once-a-week sessions in a year-long course covering skills and values. In several places, we also work on developing spoken English of the children and also explore specific technical job-related skills.
These sessions are a huge success among the students as it is fun and interactive with no textbooks and lectures. Students learn the skills the TalentEase way. The programs include movie clips, games, activities, group work and video inputs created to help students discover and develop leadership skills.

LightLives is registered as a charitable trust and your donations is eligible for income tax benefit under section 12 clause (iv) of first proviso to sub-section (5) of section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Light Lives projects are currently in operation in Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu
The LEAD program consists of 24 weekly sessions and typically happens over the course of an academic year.
Unless specified and agreed beforehand with a sponsor, LightLives alone will determine where best to spend funds received. LightLives will use funds received at its discretion to finance students training in skills and values through the LEAD program. However, LightLives will be able to present details of how many students have been benefited through sponsorship and the location of the program. Individual names will not be shared with the sponsor. Individual pictures of students will not be provided. Group pictures of students at the LEAD session will be provided wherever possible.
